The second ingredient in Allergy-Rx™ is Citrus aurantium extract, which displays immunomodulatory, and airway protective activity. Citrus aurantium extract has been used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine for help in alleviating the symptoms of many allergies and also symptoms associated with the common, including sore throat, coughing, sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes. Echinacea is the third ingredient in Allergy-Rx™ for busting allergy symptoms, which displays antibacterial, immunomodulatory, and antimicrobial activity. The immunomodulatory activity in Echinacea is directed toward the nonspecific cellular immune system (involves both innate and adaptive immune responses). Echinacea has been shown to reduce the symptoms of the common cold when taken at the onset of symptoms.
