Each of these ingredients has been selected because of the specific function it contributes to this formula, and for its ability to work with the others synergistically for maximum results.
What's in SambuGuard?
Elder flowers (Sambucus nigra): The active components in elder flowers exert a positive influence on the body's well-being by strengthening the immune system and providing the tools needed to maintain good health.* These components are naturally extracted from the blossoms for their health-enhancing benefits.* This powerful extract from elder flowers support the respiratory tract and help maintain healthy lung function.* Elder flowers also have a soothing effect on the throat when experiencing occasional throat irritation.*
Elderberries (Sambucus nigra): These therapeutic berries give SambuGuard a rich and delicious flavor that tastes like a mixture of black currants, blueberries and raspberries. The "flavonoids" in elderberries have a positive influence on proper cell function by helping to maintain cell integrity.* Elderberries also have a mild detoxifying and cleansing effect.*
Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea) plant concentrate (22:1): Echinacea is a proven overall immune system booster that supports the body's natural abilities to maintain good health.* Echinacea guards the bloodstream by maintaining a strong circulatory system.* The Echinacea used in SambuGuard is pressed from fresh organically-grown plants shortly after harvesting. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) & Acerola Cherry (Malpighia punicifolia) fruit powder: Vitamin C is a well-established antioxidant that protects the body from day-to-day wear and tear inflicted by stress and pollution. It is extremely effective at strengthening the immune system.* Acerola cherry powder (native to the West Indies) is added to SambuGuard because of its high content of natural vitamin C. The amount of vitamin C in a tablespoon (15 ml) of SambuGuard meets the recommended daily intake.

How to take it
SambuGuard should be taken at the first sign of ailment symptoms, such as an itchy throat, or a "run down" feeling.
Adult Dose: (13+ years)
One tablespoon (15 ml) of SambuGuard two to four times daily.
Child Dose: (6–12 years)
Half tablespoon (7.5 ml) of SambuGuard two to four times daily.
Child Dose: (2–6 years)
One teaspoon (5 ml) two to four times daily.
For an energizing tea, dilute one tablespoon of SambuGuard in one cup of warm water and sip.
For a refreshing drink, dilute one tablespoon of SambuGuard in one cup of cold water, and add a few ice cubes along with freshly squeezed lemon.
