Poly-MVA is a proprietary blend of Palladium, Alpha-Lipoic acid, Vitamins, B1,B2 and B12, the amino acids (Formyl-methionine and Acetyl Cystiene), and trace amounts of Molybdinum, Rhodium, and Ruthenium.
Palladium lipoic acid is an extraordinary compound that chemically bonds palladium (a unique mineral) to alpha lipoic acid. The technique of bonding these two materials together is so unique that the U.S. government has issued a patent on the process. The proprietary bonding of palladium to lipoic acid dramatically increases uptake of lipoic acid by the cell, and is theorized to provide a means of protecting the electrical potential of the cell, helping it stay healthy, and helping restore the weakened cell to health. There is presently no other commercially available product containing this unique palladium lipoic complex.
Within Poly-MVA, the proprietary palladium lipoic acid acts in a similar way to the Cobalt found in Vitamin B-12 (cyanocobalamin). The palladium is sequestered or bonded to the palladium lipoic acid molecule found in Poly-MVA. Palladium serves primarily as a transport mechanism to enhance the uptake of lipoic acid, while also being theorized to have an effect on the electrical potential of the cell by shuttling electrons from the cell membrane to the nucleus and the mitochondria. While the palladium lipoic complex contained in Poly-MVA provides a significant portion of the unique action of the supplement, other specific vitamins, minerals and amino acids enhance the function of the palladium lipoic complex, while also contributing to the support of the body's natural processes.
Because of Poly-MVA's unique ability to support and optimize cellular functions, the late oncologist, Rudy Falk, MD, believed that Poly-MVA possesses properties that make it beneficial as a tonic. The product shows promise in helping re-energize cells, especially those under stress. Poly-MVA is particularly useful to individuals whose bodies are under extreme stress and whose immune systems have been compromised. Some people who have been physically worn down due to stress from work or lack of proper nutrition use Poly-MVA to provide increased energy. Many other individuals use Poly-MVA to lessen fatigue and nausea and increase stamina and appetite and to help support essential body functions while undergoing medical treatments like chemotherapy and/or radiation or other serious illness that inhibit proper cellular metabolism.
Is Poly-MVA a treatment for cancer?
No nutritional supplement can be sold or is intended to be used for the treatment of any disease. Poly-MVA is a nutritional supplement designed to support essential body functions, and many doctors recommend the use of Poly-MVA based on their own experience and results. In some cases, physicians may use Poly-MVA in combination with other nutritional supplements and/or medications as part of an overall program, in the same way that some doctors recommend Vitamin C to prevent or cure the common cold; however we do not advocate the use of Poly-MVA (or any other supplement or medication) for the treatment of any condition, as only a medical doctor who is actively working with a patient can do that.
Poly-MVA does not advocate the use of Poly-MVA or any other nutritional supplement as a treatment for any condition or disease; FDA regulations prohibit the making of any medical claims for dietary supplements. People may take Poly-MVA as a nutritional supplement while undergoing medical treatments such as chemotherapy or radiation for various conditions, because it helps to support and strengthen normal cellular function. Since chemotherapy and radiation treatments often place the body under stress and have unpleasant side effects, nutritional supplements such as Poly-MVA can help replenish reserves of crucial nutrients and restore energy and function to weakened cells and tissues. In that way, a cancer patient might use Poly-MVA in the same way that some individuals might use other nutritional supplements such as beta-clucans or MGN-3 to help provide beneficial support during medical treatment, or as part of an overall program recommended by a physician.
People can take Poly-MVA for whatever reason they choose; a number of physicians and medical researchers, and some individuals have written journal articles or testimonials about their own experiences using Poly-MVA. (some of which may be found by doing a Web search).
There is a number of scientific articles about palladium lipoic complexes. However, Poly-MVA is a nutritional supplement, not a medication, and is not intended for the diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any disease. As such, we don't intend for it to be used as a treatment, only as a nutritional supplement. Of course, what you choose to do with your own body is up to you; some people drink juices or use special diets to maintain or restore health, others use herbal preparations, while others might use Poly-MVA, MGN-3, or CoQ10 in their quest for optimum health. We believe that Poly-MVA is a very good nutritional supplement that can support the body and can help maintain and restore optimum health in many situations.
Poly-MVA does not sell or intend Poly-MVA for the treatment of any disease. There are some physicians who have developed an integrated regimen that includes Poly-MVA (as well as other nutritional supplements and dietary changes), but those are protocols developed by individual physicians that use our products. If you're curious about integrated nutritional or holistic regimens for cancer treatment, or if you're seeking treatment for an illness, you should seek out the advice of a physician familiar with those treatment protocols. However, an increasing number of physicians are reporting positive results in using Poly-MVA in a variety of circumstances and protocols, and the value of this class of supplement is becoming more widely known. Considering the risk to a medical doctor's reputation and standing in recommending a new supplement, we believe that the wide and growing acceptance of Poly-MVA is a strong validation for the effectiveness and value of the product.
How long a bottle lasts depends on how much you take. Depending on your use of it, a bottle of Poly-MVA could last as much as 192 Days (over six months for the 8 oz. bottle), a few months or more, if you're using it to help maintain optimum health and function, or as little as a week, for those who are using more of it to increase energy and provide enhanced supplementation for a compromised body in a weakened state of health.
To maintain optimum health: The recommended use for those seeking to maintain optimum health is 1/4 to 1 teaspoon per day depending on weight and health. Therefor we recommend 1/2 teaspoon in most situations.
For maximum benefit: For those seeking increased energy, extra support, extra cellular protection and optimum antioxidant functions, the recommended use is 2 teaspoons 4 times per day for the first week then reduce the dose to half of that for the next 12 to 16 weeks, or until they get the desired effects they are seeking. Some individuals that feel very stressed, depleted, or fatigued may choose to stay on the higher dose for longer than one week, and there's no problem if they choose to do that. Each individual responds differently, and you might find that the optimum benefit for you is maintained at the higher recommended use level for some time. Others may reduce to the normal recommended use after 4 weeks, and cut down to the maintenance use after 12-16 weeks. Physicians using Poly-MVA as part of an overall health improvement program report that often, patients who stay on the first week's recommended use level for a number of weeks report higher energy, better appetite and other positive benefits, while those who reduce to the regular recommended use do not experience the same positive effects. Returning to the higher recommended use regains the positive effects.
Poly-MVA is an oral anti-oxidant, and is intended to help strengthen immune response, increase energy, help the body perform at optimum levels, and basically restore the body by providing high quality essential nutrients in a unique form that can be easily assimilated by the body. By using Poly-MVA, the structure and function of cells in the body are enhanced, and so Poly-MVA can assist in helping prevent the breakdown of cellular functions that contribute to many different diseases. In short, Poly-MVA is an excellent supplement to help keep your body in tip-top shape and decrease vulnerability to disease.
Dr. Garnett (the inventor of Poly-MVA) believes that most individuals will notice a difference in how they feel within the first 2-4 weeks. In some cases, we have seen dramatic results (energy improvement, increased appetite, etc) in just a matter of days dependent upon dosage.
Is Poly-MVA safe?
All of the ingredients are found in foods, and Poly-MVA is assimilated in the body as food. During the development of palladium lipoic complexes, including Poly-MVA, very high doses were given to animals in an attempt to determine the toxicity level of palladium lipoic complexes, but even at the highest administered dose (18 times higher than the maximum recommended dose), no negative effects were observed in any of the test animals. Based on this data, Poly-MVA appears to be safe. Additionally, PolyMVA does not appear to interfere with the actions or effects of any medications or treatments.
Poly-MVA does not have any known side effects. However, as is the case with any dietary supplement, we do not recommend taking Poly-MVA if you are suffering from any serious medical condition except under the advice and care of a physician. Since certain medical conditions may be susceptible to a rapid change in symptoms when using some classes of dietary supplements, including palladium lipoic complexes, monitoring by a physician is always advisable to ensure health and safety.
If you are taking vitamin C (3000mg-5000mg per day), we recommend waiting 6 hours before taking the Poly-MVA. Megadoses of Vitamin C (5-150 grams per day) should be being carefully watched by a physician and they would determine the best course of action. Poly-MVA uses free radicals available in cells in order to transform them into energy. Alpha Lipoic Acid should not be taken with Poly-MVA, because it will compete with the proprietary palladium-bonded lipoic acid in the Poly-MVA. Tobacco products, alcohol and excessive caffeine intake can also interfere with the actions of Poly-MVA, in addition to working against the goal of optimum health, so we recommend avoidance.
Why is this product so costly compared to other supplements?
It is competitive with other natural products on a monthly basis. It is made of unique ingredients and a combination of palladium, rhodium, and other metals, two of the most expensive metals in the world (Palladium is typically more expensive than platinum). So the raw materials cost is high, much higher than a typical supplement. Additionally, the laboratory that developed the product is engaged in preparing a similar product for FDA approved clinical trials, and since the cost of that process is in millions of dollars, it is necessary to cover some of the development cost of the product through the sale of the product. In terms of the cost of the raw materials and manufacturing process vs. the selling price, Poly-MVA is similar in manufacturing margin to most other nutritional supplements.
Poly-MVA was only made available in the U.S. starting 1992. The first several years were spent trying to present the scientific data to physicians. There are now quite a few medical doctors from all over the country and the world using Poly-MVA in their practices, so the value of the supplement is becoming more widely known.
There is a large and growing list of physicians recommending and using Poly-MVA. As with any new supplement, and particularly one as intricate and unique in action as the class of palladium lipoic complexes, acceptance in medical profession has taken time. However, an increasing number of physicians are reporting positive results in using Poly-MVA in a variety of circumstances and protocols, and the value of this class of supplement is becoming more widely known. Considering the risk to a medical doctor's reputation and standing in recommending a new supplement, Poly-MVA believes that the wide and growing acceptance of Poly-MVA is a strong validation for the effectiveness and value of the product.
